Buyers requirements
The basic electrical characteristic of a thermistor is that its
resistance value changes with temperature, and the temperature of
the thermistor itself will change with the surrounding temperature
or the self-heating caused by the current passing through the
thermistor. In applications such as temperature measurement,
control and compensation, the self-consumption of the thermistor is
required to be kept to a minimum to avoid self-heating. When the
ambient temperature remains the same, the resistance value of the
thermistor is a function of the self-consumption power of the
thermistor. In this case, the temperature of the thermistor rises
to higher than the ambient temperature.
In some operating conditions the high temperature can be 100~200℃
resistance can be reduced to low current conditions under the dry
resistance value in some applications can use the thermal contact
resistance of its own heating characteristics. In the self-heating
state, the thermistor is thermally sensitive to any condition that
changes the thermal conductivity of the thermistor. If the heat
dissipation speed can be ideally fixed, the thermistor is sensitive
to the power input, so the thermistor is suitable for voltage level
or power level control.
